Today was a good day to get into Ravensburg state park as there was a good mix of sun and clouds.  I prefer the partly cloudy days is the light isn’t as harsh.  And with Ravensburg light is “everything”.   The park doesn’t see direct morning or evening sunlight as it is in a gorge.  If you want sunlight in the park.. show up at noon.  Today was among other things a good chance for us to get out and find some landscapes that we can photograph, or at least take reference of and revisit at another time.

Green Wren?

Green Wren?

While there we found what appears to be a small green Wren sitting in the road.  It looks as if it flew into a car and survived the encounter but was stunned.   We removed it from the road before it got run over and as you can see in the picture included it was quite docile.  We picked a nice out of the way safe spot to put it in.  When we returned to our vehicle some time later it had moved on.

Lastly as we are driving around the roads we stumbled upon this little guy trying to cross the road. We stopped and took some pictures. And for those that are curious I did not ask it to sign a model release form.
