In 1999 I became infected with a bug…. a photography bug. I started taking pictures with whatever camera I could get my hands on. I knew it was something I wanted to do but I was quite clueless. I was also married and in the Army so life was quite busy. Fast forward to 2003 and I had lost on more than one occasion every picture I had taken…and that is where my first Photo Archive actually started. My first real effort to keep everything I took a picture of, good, bad and ugly. I still managed to loose most of that year’s stuff.
But some of the archives remain and I thought it would be a good idea to grab 3 images from 2003 and re-post them tonight. Because tomorrow I kick off my spring season of photography. I have a day trip planned with a fellow photographer in search of “that shot” and I don’t plan to miss “that shot”. For those that have been following my efforts over the year most of my best work comes from December through June with the core work in May. So raise your hat to spring and everything it has to offer…and I hope you enjoy these shots from 2003.
